SCAN Infant and Child Health Tables


Follow these steps to create a table, trend-line and bar chart from South Carolina Resident data.
  Step One
Select row variable (default: Year).
Birth Weight Age of Child at Death
  Step Two
Select column variable (default: Race).
  Birth Weight Age of Child at Death
  Step Three
Select year(s) of interest (default: 2004).
  Step Four (Optional)

Specify Race, Ethnicity, Birth Weight and/or Age of Child at Death below: (default: All Races, All Ethnicities, All Weight Groups, All Ages)

  Step Five
Select Region (default: County).
     
  Step Six
Select Region of interest.

In order to view multiple regions separately, "Region" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove region, select region of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Seven
Select  Infant and Child Health Indicators (default: Live Births).

In order to view multiple indicators, "Infant and Child Health Indicators" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove Infant and Child Health Indicators, select Infant and Child Health Indicator of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Eight
Choose output preference (default: Frequencies).






     * Frequencies & rates must be selected in Step Eight.
  Step Nine
Choose output presentation format (default: Table).



      *   Available for consecutive years when year is chosen as a Column Variable
