SCAN Infant Mortality Tables

Follow these steps to create a map from South Carolina Resident data.

  Step One
Select year(s) of interest (default: 2011). Note: Please select only Twenty.

ICD9 Codes:

  Step Two (optional)
Specify Race of Child, Ethnicity of Child, Age of Child at Death, Gestational Age and/or Birthweight below:
(default: All Races, All Ethnicities, All Ages of Child, All Gestational Ages, All Birthweights)

     Race of Child     Age of Child at Death    Birthweight 
Ethnicity of Child              Gestational Age 
  Step Three
Select Region (default: County).
  Step Four
Select Infant Mortality Variable (default: Infant Mortality).

* To add or remove Infant Mortality Variable, select Infant Mortality Variable and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Five
Choose output preference (default: Frequencies).
  Step Six
Specify count intervals (default: Quartiles).

  Step Seven
Select color shade of map (default: Gray).
