SCAN Mothers Health Tables


Follow these steps to create a table, trend-line and bar chart from South Carolina Resident data.
  Step One
Select row variable (default: Year).

  Step Two
Select column variable (default:Race).

  Step Three
Select year(s) of interest (default: 2002).
  Step Four (Optional)
Specify Maternal Race, Ethnicity and Maternal Age below: (default: All Races, All Ethnicities, All Marital Status, All Ages)
                  Race          Ethnicity
     Marital Status                 Age
  Step Five
Select Region (default: County).
     
  Step Six
Select Region of interest.

In order to view multiple regions separately, "Region" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove region, select region of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Seven
Select Health and Lifestyle Indicators (default: Live Births).

In order to view multiple indicators, "Health and Lifestyle Indicators" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove Health and Lifestyle Indicators, select Health and Lifestyle Indicator of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Eight
Choose output preference (default: Frequencies).




     *   Frequencies & rates must be selected in Step Eight.
  Step Nine
Choose output presentation format (default: Table).



      *    Available for consecutive years when year is chosen as the Column Variable
