SCAN PRAMS Tables

Follow these steps to create a table, trendline or bar chart from South Carolina Resident PRAMS data.

  Step One
Select row variable (default: year).
                 
                       Indicator
  Step Two
Select column variable (default: Race).
               
      
  Step Three
Select year(s) of interest (default: 2008). Note: The SC PRAMS 2008 response rate fell short of the 65% rate that PRAMS has regarded as the epidemiologically valid threshold. Please interpret 2008 SC PRAMS data with caution.

  Step Four (Optional)
Specify Race, Age and/or Marital Status below: (default: all races, all ages, all marital status)
Race    Ethnicity    Age    Marital Status
  Step Five
Select an indicator of interest (default: Unintended Pregnancy).

In order to view multiple indicators separately, "Indicator" must be the row variable.

Selected Indicators

  Step Six
Choose output preference (default: Respondents).
      Respondents – denominator equals the weighted number of women responding to the question(s) of interest
      Percents – prevalence estimate of selected survey indicator(s) among women delivering live births, weighted data
  Step Seven
Choose output presentation format (default: Table).
